An e-commerce store built on Shopify to help a fast-growing Hair and Skincare business transition from manual order handling to a fully automated sales system, enabling seamless payments, improved customer experience, and data-driven business insights.

The Challenge
The client was operating a growing business primarily through Instagram, manually handling customer inquiries, payments, and order fulfilment. As monthly orders increased, managing the workflow became increasingly hectic, resulting in customer delays and operational strain. Additionally, the client lacked a centralized system to monitor sales performance, track best-selling products, and analyse business growth metrics.
The Solution
After evaluating the business needs, Shopify was selected as the optimal solution due to its powerful analytics capabilities, ease of use, and scalability. Shopify provided the client with an automated ordering system, integrated payment processing, abandoned cart recovery, and built-in sales analytics. The platform’s extensive app ecosystem also enabled future growth opportunities through conversion optimization, upselling strategies, and AOV enhancement tools. The store was designed to deliver a seamless purchasing experience while simplifying backend operations for the client.
Project Process
Week 1 – Strategy & Planning
Initial consultations focused on understanding the client’s workflow, operational challenges, and growth objectives. Website structure mapping, product organization strategy, and conversion flow planning were defined.
Week 2 – Core Page Design & Customization
Development and design of the three primary landing pages, ensuring clear navigation, optimized user journeys, and conversion-focused layout structures.
Week 3 – Product & Purchase Experience Optimization
Customization of Product Detail Pages (PDP), cart experience, and checkout flow. Products were uploaded and structured to support intuitive browsing and purchasing behaviour.
Week 4 – Testing & Final Enhancements
Full system testing, refinement of UI/UX elements, addition of supporting pages (Contact, About), and implementation of final optimizations and fixes.
